Registration

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General conditions for participation

Preselections for the International Meeting of Hip Hop Dances are for all dancers regardless of nationality, age and dance level.
All competitors have to register in pairs.
Dancers are allowed to register in the country of his choice but cannot take part in multiple preselections held in different countries.
Dancers are allowed to register in more than 1 dance style but can participate only once per style of dance.

2. Registration fees

There is a charge of SGD$50 per pair of competitors for Juste Debout Singapore 2012.

3. Deadline to register

The registration will close on 14 January 2011, 2359hrs.

4. Jury

The Jury has been selected by Juste Debout and will judge all preselection rounds in every country.
Each judge has one vote per category except for the judge who specialises in that category - he has 2 votes in his specialty.

5. Development of preselections

Each duo will have 1 minute per run to present their artistic qualities to judges.
Following this first run, only 8 duos will be selected in each style to reach the Finals in the pre-selection.
During the quarter finals, each dancer has 1 run of 1 minute.
During the semifinals and finals, each dancer has 2 runs of 1 minute.
Dancers are allowed to do just one routine per run.

6. Prize

Winners of the Singapore pre-selection rounds are entitled to compete in the Juste Debout Finals held at the Palais Omnisportde Paris Bercy.
They will be given 1 return flight ticket each to Paris and a trophy to recognise their success as the winners of South East Asia's Largest Dance Battle.

7. Transfer of image rights

By taking part in the Juste Debout Singapore preselections, dancers hereby authorize the Juste Debout association to use all the photographs and/or videos taken in any relation to or support of the Event in all forms of published and online media. They also hereby authorize the Juste Debout association, its partners and license holders the rights to fix, reproduce, communicate and use these photographs for an unlimited time and space.
